Sunnyside Up! I made this guy. I love him.

The year matters For memory's sake They all seem to run together If I were to unpack them One by one Would I survive? There is more life Than possibility to remember... Why? There waits more on another side But what side - I am unsure. I want to go there, Swim with my subconscious Mix and blend with me... And me... And me... Would I choose to return? Or would I stay forever In that ocean of Love Pain Nostalgia and the Unknown Dare I find out?

My words escape me I show up Because I must What is expected Is known even if I don't comply My joyful gratitude is often laced with my angry confusion. I go with the flow Naturally But question if that is right with a constant cadence Creating worry is easy But not wanted Yet it flows forth intentionally I fight my own nature as if to say being me must be too easy

Just sleep Just dream These simple commands are like grasping at waterfalls Close my eyes Turn down my mind But the body does not get the message Half awake Half asleep Angry and lost at the place I am residing Begging And dealing My own negotiator is also my own terrorist Pills Elixirs Tricking my body into something it requires Please Sleep If only just a few hours, so deep I don't remember

Failing Falling Struggling Disappointed Heart-broken Exposed Wanting Searching Asking Pleading Releasing Reserved Ignited Inspired Giving Rising Breathing Flying Desiring Working Taking Soaring Thriving Alive

So I wait, I watch When I want you to appear You resist And I give, I long When nothing seems to work You win But I love, I receive When you think you've got me You falter For I know, I see When the truth seems a blur You appear Now I waver, I stand When my bones shake You notice Yet I stay, I continue When the fear and joy collide You are the one left waiting now

This love! This joy! Spring forth from my center! My being radiates with a love energy unique to even me. I hold it. I hold you. SQUEEEEEZE. Be still and feel Vibrations emanating from my body, bouncing off yours, back and forth and back again. OH, the joy! The excitement! I burst with anticipation at receiving you Into my longing arms!

Coldness Blanketed warmth Grab at the darkness And let comfort prevail Drunken warmth Let it pour inside my chamber I long for sunny days But sink into the winters that are Grateful for your body Which emits all I need Energy, heat, love, light We live here - no, We thrive Alone, Yet surrounded by life At every glance Trees, Animals, Mountains Sigh their vapor breaths Kissing us as they rise Back to the sky Like a smoke signal of life To the never-ending universe

Sliding down and up again Ride the bumps The smoothest skin Trace the lines and lets begin Glide inside Compulsion wins Freedom falls and rises high Its like a ride I start to fly Holding close and letting down We're at the end Without a sound

I hear it From beyond my hall. Your tiny sound Of movement. The gentle push of its nature Up from your belly And out. It brings me pause. Joy skips. I smile.
