So I wait, I watch

When I want you to appear

You resist


And I give, I long

When nothing seems to work

You win


But I love, I receive

When you think you've got me

You falter


For I know, I see

When the truth seems a blur

You appear


Now I waver, I stand

When my bones shake

You notice


Yet I stay, I continue

When the fear and joy collide
