What a beautiful start to the weekend! Fresh cut from our girl Liyah, plant shopping and seeing teeny tiny baby birdies in one of the planters, and then fresh baked banana muffins 😌 if you’re interested, Earthtones Midlothian is doing 35% off anything that grows tomorrow! They’ll have hotdogs and water and sodas, and they’re doing some raffles, too. Maybe I’ll see you there tomorrow!

Went to a show at House of Blues last night. It was fun to get out and have yummy food with good company. Life has been good in unexpected ways lately. I’ll take it. 💝

I’ve been walking this trail for almost ten years, and it never gets old. Anyone else feel a huge shift in energies this week? I sure did. And this trail gave me much needed grounding, like it always does 🌼

Spent my Sunday on a day trip to Austin to attend a workshop with @moxiemolly11astrology After listening to her podcast for almost a decade, it was great to see and learn in person. The venue was so unique and special. It was a wonderful experience all around!

Inviting
First the angels and ancestors
The spirit of those who know me
Then those who don’t.
Inviting the ones
To help free my flow
From myself
From the world
From the demons who cause
Doubt
Shame
Hesitations
And distraction.
Lighting the candle for fire
The prayer for air
A stone to ground
And ice water to cleanse, hydrate and remind me of my humanness.
Giving thanks and trust
To them
To me
To us.
And so we write on
Together in the words and thoughts
The characters their own living things on the page
The screen
My mind
My heart.
Giving them life gives me life
But it also takes
Because balance is required.
So I give
They give
We exchange and dance and feel and love
We hate and question and pour and hold
Space
Place
And face our fears and desires together.
The outcome the same in timing
But different in gift.
Silent writing
Inviting
Receiving and giving
Trying
To be seen and understood
Connections without attachment
And a bond made that lives forever.

Reading this book brings me so much joy. The prose. The way it is written. A story about Hekate is usually an adventure, a healing jaunt of self-discovery, and a comfort of feeling understood. But this book. This story. I absolutely adore everything about it. Well done @nikita_gill
